Phoenix CENAZ BBQ 10/14/11 - Deck Park
We had about 40 memebers at this year's BBQ. The meal consisted of steaks (filet mignon), beans, potato salad, finger food, and beer (several types). Again CENAZ thanks Stantec for help in sponsoring this event. Also special thanks go out to Hugh Pace the expert chef who provided the grilling.

Science Olympiad (Glendale College) Wind Power Contest
Arizona Science Olympiad
The Science Olympiad is designed to increase student's interest in science/math and providing recognition for outstanding achievement.
Teams built a blade assembly that consisted of any kind of propeller/pinwheel/rotor attached to a compact disc (CD) which was used to capture wind power. Students were tested on their knowledge regarding alternative energy.

Future Cities Competition Jan 2011
On January 18th 2011 CENAZ (ISA) members Gary Campbell, Steven Kain and Robert Lange volunteered to judge the Future Cities Competition for the Best Automated City Award. Judging the competition was a rewarding experience to see today’s youth involved in Engineering Practices. The students spent many hours in conceptual design, drawing the model, writing a narrative and building the model.
